- Except for the first game in each BLOCK of games athletes will NOT be permitted to assemble on deck until the final minute of play in the previous game. We will have deck control staff to assist us in controling the deck so we ask for your cooperation. We recommend that your athletes already have their caps on and have taken advantage of other areas in the facility for stretching and other related dryland warm up.
- Pool Warm ups will be 9 minutes in duration (unless the previous game ends earlier than expected) and this will be strictly enforced.
- A call for teams to line-up for presentation will be made over the sound system at the end of the 9 minute warm up period and teams will have 1 minute to get out of the water and their Team Outfits on and caps for presentation on deck.
- Presentation of players, coaches, referees and Special Guest for each game including 30 sec. playing of a portion of the National Anthems of the competing teams - will take 7 minutes. The location of the presentation will depend on the pool being used (we are using 2 pools - Ottawa University on Thursdays and Nepean Sportsplex Friday to Sunday). We will have a Tournament Staff person to ensure you know where to lineup. We would ask that you discuss with your athletes in advance how the presentations are to be conducted. We really want to make this event something special and hope you will assist us in this regard.
